Would you like to work in a friendly, happy, forward thinking academy which values all members of our academy community? At Pound Hill Infant Academy we treat every child and member of staff as an individual and provide a welcoming and thriving environment in which to work.  

We are seeking a highly motivated Premises Manager to oversee all aspects of our premises, health and safety and risk management.  The successful applicant will need to have a wide range of maintenance, DIY, and caretaking skills as well as overseeing the cleaning team in the academy.  They will also need to have basic IT skills, be able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a supportive team and show commitment, drive and enthusiasm. 

As Premises Manager you will need to ensure that the environment, both inside and out, is maintained to a high standard that guarantees the site is fit for purpose and safe, thus enabling children to learn to their full potential. 

You will be supported not only by your line manager and the Principal, but as part of The University of Brighton Academies Trust, you will have full support from the dedicated estates team.

The successful applicant will work the following hours:

Monday – Friday – 7am to 6pm to open and close the academy. The hours between are flexible and will be agreed by your line manager and Principal.
