Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the classroom. We are seeking an individual who can support our teachers and motivate and encourage our pupils
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is calm, confident and has the skills to be able to support classroom activities safely and can create a positive learning environment. You will have:
- maths and English GCSE Grade A- C or equivalent
- knowledge of SEN
- experience of establishing positive relationships with students and the ability to empathise with their needs. This role is temporary up until 31/08/2022, working 26.25 hours per week, term time only.
Expectations of the role
Mainly classroom based you will work with colleagues to support individual and groups of children in their core learning including reading, writing and mathematics to help develop their confidence. You will also work on the playground to encourage positive social friendships and play.

Our creative curriculum engages pupils with personalised learning and practical experiences. We have two classes in each year group welcoming children from our local community. We also hosts a nursery for children aged from 3 years.
