We are looking for someone to join our Alternative Provision Team as a Behaviour Support Assistant.​​​​​​​

The role 

  • Working under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals/groups which could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, including behaviour support 
  • To provide specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and have additional educational needs 
  • To provide in class support for all students as directed by the Assistant Principal – Alternative Provision 

We are looking for someone who:

•           Has the ability to build strong positive relationships with students

•           Is resilient and has experience in providing educational support with strong discipline

•           Has enthusiasm, presence and authority with a positive, can-do attitude

•           Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed

•           Is able to support students who exhibit challenging behaviour

•           Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive

The salary on a pro-rata basis equates to £17,791.
