Would you like to work with our pupils to ensure they enjoy their lunchtime break?
Silverdale Primary Academy is looking for a brilliant Mid-Day Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to join our motivated and enthusiastic team. MDSAs play an absolutely crucial role in ensuring our children have a great lunchtime and are ready to learn when they return to their classrooms.
We believe it is our responsibility to promote a community founded on respect, trust, fairness and honesty, where we are privileged to celebrate and nurture both our similarities and differences.
We take care and pride in each other and ourselves; we really believe it is important to be positive and happy, that learning is for everyone. We want to be aspirational and ambitious; we want to keep getting better. We expect everyone to help create a place where we can all thrive and enjoy being together.
Duties include assisting the children in the dining hall, supervising and actively engaging with children to encourage play whilst in the playground and ensuring they gain the most from their lunch time. A willingness to act as a team member, a confident manner and a calm approach are essential.
The actual pro rata salary for this role is £2649.39 and the working pattern will be a daily 'hour and a quarter' shift over the lunch period.
