Working pattern:
Maximum 20 hours per week (we can accommodate you if you are looking for a role of lesser hours)
Monday to Friday, 10am - 2pm (alternative hours by arrangement)

Actual starting salary (calculated pro rate):  £10,710 (pay award pending)

We are seeking a flexible, part time Facilities Assistant to join us at our 'Outstanding Primary Academy', to help us ensure that the school site is clean, secure and safe for all users. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the general care, maintenance and servicing of academy buildings and grounds
  • Working within current health and safety legislation
  • Providing a customer-facing / positive service  
  • Helping to maintain a clean, safe, hygienic and secure site 

​​​​​​​You will have:

  • Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning: DIY, painting & decorating, general garden maintenance etc
  • Experience of maintaining health & safety in a workplace
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Full clean driving licence with access to own transport
  • The ability to work as part of our team and independently​​​​​​​
