Robsack Wood Primary Academy require a Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team on a casual working basis. The Nursery is part of a purpose built Early Years Village offering high quality childcare and education for children from 3 months to 5 years for 51 weeks of the year. Our setting offers a free flow approach across the age phases where children are able to access the indoor and outdoor environments alongside structured learning experiences in small groups. We offer a range of activities including outdoor leaning, Balanceability and much more.
Qualified Nursery Practitioners will be appointed on Grade 3 of the Trust’s pay scale whereas Unqualified Practitioners will be appointed to Grade 2. Apprenticeship training is available for those who are unqualified and looking to gain a qualification.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is patient, calm and relaxed with an enthusiastic approach to learning
- Is confident in running stimulating, fun and educational activities with children
- Can build and encourage confidence in children, allowing them to lead their own learning when appropriate

Robsack Wood is an exciting, exuberant and welcoming academy where children from 3 months to 11 years old flourish in a safe and stimulating environment. The academy has impressive facilities- including extensive grounds with a large grassed playing field, adjacent woodlands, garden areas and animal areas with chickens and ducks - to ensure pupils are able to learn in exceptional environments that promote creativity and motivation. It has a published admissions number of 60 and total capacity of 420 pupils. The academy hosts a nursery for children aged from 3 months.
