Hollington Primary Academy is looking to recruit a highly-motivated and innovative Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who can demonstrate a love of supporting children with learning, to join our friendly and hard-working team.
The role will be to provide support for pupils’ learning throughout the academy, by facilitating group activities and working with children in classes, including covering classes, as required.

You will need:
- Confident and clear communication with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
- To be well-organised resourceful and flexible, and able to think on their feet
- Have an clear understanding of how children learn and how to adapt tasks to suit their needs
- Have a good grasp of basic skills required for learning
- Experience of establishing positive relationships with students and the ability to empathise with their needs
- Must have or be working towards HLTA Qualification
We are looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible. This is a permanent term time only position working 25 hours per week. Single Status Grade 8 Points 20-22 (pro rata salary £14,104 - £15,233 p.a.)
