The role

Hollington Primary Academy is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant 2 with a particular interest in Emotional and Mental Wellbeing to join our friendly and enthusiastic team, contributing to supporting learning across the school. The role may provide support to the teacher within a class as well as supporting groups of pupils in emotional, social and wellbeing based activities. We are an outward facing academy with great staff, pupils and parents.   The role is working 25 hours per week, term time only and will commence at term time only . The full time annual salary is £18,562 which is based on Grade 3 Point 7 of the East Sussex Pay Scale. Please note that the actual salary will be pro-rated.

  • English and Maths GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
  • A strong commitment to supporting children's learning
  • Ability to work with patience and enthusiasm

Hollington Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11- year olds in St Leonards on Sea,  East Sussex. We serve our local community and encourage our pupils to think big. We have two classes in each year group and use our creative curriculum to bring learning to life. We have excellent sports provision and hold the Gold School Games award.
