We wish to appoint an Evening Cleaner to join our existing cleaning team. Under the guidance or the Cleaning Supervisor, cleaners are required to maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the academy buildings.
The post is for 15 hours per week, term time plus 15 days. The salary is £6,434 pa. You would be required to work Monday to Friday 3 hours per day. These 3 hours should be worked between the hours of 5.30pm and 8.30pm. This role would be working term time (38 weeks) plus an additional 3 weeks per year.
Our ideal applicant will be professional, reliable and punctual. They will be able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.

The Burgess Hill Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We challenge and support our pupils to believe in their best, providing an academic focus with a determination to support wellbeing and employability skills. In 2020 we have enhanced our learning environment with refurbished classrooms, science labs and outdoor areas. We offer 240 student places each year and have a total capacity of 1200.
