We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team for September 2021.

This role is for a Teaching Assistant working in our ‘Treetops’ class supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of pupils across the academy who access this provision.

We require someone who:

  • is capable of working with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner;
  • is punctual and reliable;
  • has the desire to encourage every child to succeed.
  • has an understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant 3 and experience within this field of work

The working pattern will be Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 12.00pm term time plus inset days.

Based on needs of our pupil intake from September 2021 this is initially a one year fixed term contract.

Pound Hill Infant Academy is a school for 4 to 7-year olds in Crawley, West Sussex. We are a welcoming, nurturing and thriving school. We offer high-quality teaching and creative learning to three classes of pupils in each year group, and support the diverse needs of our local community which includes many children for whom English is an additional language. We are a friendly Academy focused on learning and ensuring the wellbeing and success of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on having high expectations, quality teaching and dedicated staff that means the each of our pupils as an individual is able to access support and challenge whatever their ability, to reach their potential.
