An exciting opportunity has arisen at The St Leonards Academy and we seek a Learning Support Assistant (Teaching and Learning) to support SEN students across the academy in class, withdrawal groups and small intervention groups. This role is for 32 hours per week, term time only; the pro rata salary will be £14,392.55 per annum.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is patient, calm and relaxed with an enthusiastic approach to learning
- Is confident in running stimulating, fun and educational activities with children
- Can build and encourage confidence in children, allowing them to lead their own learning when appropriate

The St Leonards Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We have a clear vision of what creates successful learners and how to implement it. We are one of twenty TEEP Ambassador schools in the UK.
