About Blackthorns Community Primary Academy
Ofsted grade: Outstanding in all areas (2018)
Blackthorns Community Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in Lindfield, West Sussex. We are an inclusive, nurturing school. We strive to provide creative and inspirational learning experiences. With one class in each year group, our small size allows us to know our pupils as individuals; nurturing their strengths and talents. We also have a special facility for up to 8 children with additional learning needs and speech, language and communication difficulties.
In 2017 we were nationally recognised for exceptional educational outcomes with a School Students and Teachers award. We hold the Arts Council Artsmark Award and Silver School Games award.
