This opportunity is available to all students who have been, or are currently on placement within the primary academies within the Trust. You’ll either choose, or be assigned, a host academy where you’ll complete your NQT year. This includes:
Churchwood Primary Academy - Situated in the picturesque setting of Church Wood, this academy has a large playing field, its own Forest School and two acres of beautiful woodland. Churchwood is committed to working in partnership with parents, working tirelessly to ensure high aims and high achievement. Churchwood Primary Academy has a published admissions number of 30 and total capacity of 218 pupils; this includes a special educational needs facility for eight Key Stage 2 pupils with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder combined with speech and language communication difficulties. Hollington Primary Academy - Hollington Primary Academy has a published admissions number of 60 and total capacity of 420 pupils. Robsack Wood Primary Academy - Robsack Wood is an exciting, exuberant and welcoming academy where children from 3 months to 11 years old flourish in a safe and stimulating environment. The academy has impressive facilities - including extensive grounds with a large grassed playing field, adjacent woodlands, garden areas and animal areas with chickens and ducks - to ensure pupils are able to learn in exceptional environments that promote creativity and motivation. Silverdale Primary Academy - has extensive and beautiful grounds and very large playing fields, as well as an indoor heated swimming pool on site, a rainforest themed library, a Forest Schools outdoor learning area and a large bank of ICT resources. The Baird Primary Academy - The Baird Primary Academy has a team of talented professionals who share the aspiration that Every Child Succeeds. The academy offers a creative and innovative curriculum to excite and engage all pupils. It has a published admissions number of 60 and total capacity of 420 pupils, although there is currently an additional ‘bulge’ year group moving up through the academy.
