Do you have a passion for creating clear and compelling stories about people and the work that they do?
We are looking for a comms guru - someone who wants to help us push our communications further. We are a Trust with massive ambition, and we want the right person to help us get our news to the right audiences.
We are looking for a Communications Officer who is highly organised, resilient, and enthusiastic. You will have:
- degree or equivalent qualification/significant appropriate experience in relevant field
- excellent communications and presentation skills
- project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- experience creating website content, video creation, blogs, vlogs and social media activity
As our Communications Officer, you will sit in the Marketing and Communications team right at the heart of the Trust reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications. Your main role will be to protect and enhance our reputation - making sure we effectively communicate to the right people at the right time, using the best method. You will also be required to attend events as a representative of the Trust.
This is a really busy and challenging role, and no two days are the same. You will work across our 15 academies, showcasing the many achievements that take place each and every day. Your input will be vital in key corporate projects, and we will be looking to you to let us know how best to communicate these.
As we do more and more communicating online, you will have excellent digital skills and an in-depth understanding of all social media channels. You will also be able to turn your hand to photography and video to help us communicate using these methods.
