Are you an experienced Senior People Partner who is passionate about leading your small team to deliver effective people interventions and facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives?
This is a great time to join our fantastic, highly motivated and friendly team as we transition from an HR to a People department following a recent restructure, and to contribute to the Trust and ultimately to improving the life chances of our pupils.
As our temporary Senior People Partner, you will have an exciting opportunity to continue to establish this crucial and recently-established role whilst covering a period of maternity leave. This will involve you working with our Principals and Heads of Professional Services to understand their people needs and challenges and to develop and implement people solutions.
Our successful candidate will be an experienced and CIPD qualified, senior HR professional, with demonstrable experience of providing advice to stakeholders on a range of employee relations issues and change management, in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
You will have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical ability. You will also be an experienced line manager and strong team player who enjoys working on their own initiative, has excellent communication skills, and is competent using Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
This role will involve frequent travel to the Trust’s academies. Your office base will the University of Brighton’s Falmer campus, but you will initially be based at home due to social distancing measures.
