Are you an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (Senior People Partner) who is passionate about leading your team to deliver effective people interventions and facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives?

This is an extremely exciting time to join our fantastic, highly motivated and dedicated team as we transition from an HR to a People department following a recent restructure. It is a challenging opportunity that will allow you to make a valueable contribution to the Trust and ultimately improve and directly impact the life chances of our pupils.

As our interim Senior People Partner, you will be influencial in assisting to launch this crucial and recently-established role whilst covering a period of maternity leave. This will involve you working with our Principals and Heads of Professional Services to understand their people needs and challenges to develop and implement effective people solutions.

As an experienced and CIPD qualified senior HR professional you will need to demonstrate a strong background in business partnering, providing advice to stakeholders on a range of employee relations issues as well as change management, in line with legislation, policy and best practice. 

You will have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills combined with a strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical ability. As someone with previous line manager expeirence you will also  be a strong team player and thrive working on your own initiative, competent using Microsoft Office and HR information systems. 

Whilst the role will involve travel to the Trust’s academies with your main office base at the University of Brighton’s Falmer campus, you will initially be based at home due to social distancing measures.
